Stunning contemporary luxury lodge in the heart of Speyside. With sensational interiors, superb facilities and views of the rolling Cromdale Hills, this two-bedroom luxury retreat really does have the WOW factor.

Sensational interiors and views of the Cromdale Hills

Originally a fairly modest bungalow, the property has been transformed into a luxury lodge with fabulous interiors. In fact, it feels like living inside the pages of an interior design magazine. The owners seem to have thought of everything. It’s been so carefully designed to maximise the space and comfort.

Culfoichbeg Lodge offers tasteful décor and stylish fittings throughout. Upon arriving you step into a roomy porch area with incredible horticultural themed wallpaper, comfy seating and coat racks. Inside there’s a fantastic open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining area with picture windows overlooking the large garden area with views to the forest and hills beyond.

Quality furnishings and fittings throughout

The fab décor is top notch, lovely, muted greens with high quality furnishings and fittings throughout. There’s a comfy sofa and some elegant armchairs and floor lights and a smart TV with Netflix etc. The contemporary wood burner is a real style statement, although with underfloor heating throughout we didn’t need it on during our stay even in winter!
There’s also a nice selection of books, as well as handy maps and guidebooks including some whisky guides, essential for the area. It’s a delightful space and just the place to relax of an evening.

The kitchen is extremely well-equipped with top-of-the-range facilities and high-end crockery. It has an induction hob. An electric oven, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. Cooks will love creating in this space. The kitchen is lit by uber cool industrial lights, a great touch, bringing contemporary style to the proceedings. The large stylish wooden dining table is perfect for enjoying your efforts. We sampled the welcome pack too with delicious local Scottish cheeses, chutney and fruit.

Just off the main open plan lounge/kitchen area is a handy utility room and an extra bathroom/shower. Outside, the large garden offers outdoor seating, a barbecue, and a firepit to enjoy. Just the place to enjoy a few drinks or even breakfast or dinner in the summer months and take in the views.

The house is all on one level, suitable for anyone with mobility issues. It boasts two large double bedrooms, with really comfortable king-sized beds and luxurious en-suites. One of them also has a large stylish bath. The master bedroom has a fantastic dressing room area and hillside views. With rain showers, a nice selection of soaps and bath robes, Culfoichbeg Lodge continues the luxury experience.
