This stunning coastal cottage sleeps four in two bedrooms. Packed full of charm and character with wooden floors, quality furniture, finishings and a cosy wood-burning stove, Its a fabulous base for a family holiday in the Highlands.
We loved location on the seashore in the small village of North Kessock on the Black Isle, just north of Inverness. You can sit in the enclosed garden while dolphin spotting, not many holiday houses offer that option!

The cottage been restored to an exceptionally high standard throughout whilst retaining loads of original character and charm. The interiors are superb throughout, the open plan living area has a cosy woodburner and just the place to chill out.
The house over two levels, offers superb modern facilities. A well-equipped, contemporary and stylish kitchen diner makes self-catering easy. It has a fridge/freezer, oven, hob and grill, dishwasher and microwave.
Full of charm with incredible views
There’s also a separate utility room with a washing machine and drying room. Ideal after a day out exploring, on down at the beach.
In terms of sleeping, the good sized bedrooms upstairs can sleep up to four with a double and twin. The cottage also has an immaculate bathroom with bath and shower.
Quirky barrel sauna for relaxing
The outside garden space is a delightful, with an enclosed garden and stunning sea views. If the weather is kind, its just the place to enjoy dinner. It offers a nice decking area, BBQ and table for four. Look out for dolphins swimming past! There’s also a quirky barrel sauna for relaxing.
No need to drive to the shop or even the pub! The cottage sits on the edge of the village of North Kessock with its a tea shop, pub and convenience store all within short walking distance of the cottage.

Enjoy dolphin spotting on the Moray Firth. Go on a boat tour, just look out from the garden or head down by the water, Chanory Point is probably the one of the best places to watch for Bottlenose dolphins
Take a boat trip on Loch Ness and go ‘Nessie spotting’.Or take a drive along Loch Ness to the historic ruins of Urquhart Castle, one of the finest castles in Scotland or head over to the impressive Fort George overlooking the Moray Firth.
Go for lunch at the nearby North Kessock Hotel or White Cottage Coffee Shop.
Grab a bucket and spade and head for the beach, favourites include Fortrose Beach, Rosemarkie Beach and Nairn Beach.
Explore Inverness. Go shopping in the Victorian Market, visit the cathedral, or the award-winning Inverness Museum and Art Gallery.
Head for the swimming nearby pool. Try the waterslides at Inverness Leisure Centre, the kids will love it.
Don’t miss the opportunity to soak up the history and atmosphere at Culloden. The last pitched battle on British soil took place here. The visitor centre gives brings to life the stories of those who fought and fell here at the concluding battle of the 1745 Jacobite Rebellion.
Take the kids trekking, there is a pony trekking centre just 10 minutes away
