Lettoch Beag, is part of the family of luxury accommodation run by Lettoch Cottages which includes the sublime Cow Shed and quirky Cow Shed Two.
Built using traditional stone with larch cladding, and boasting underfloor heating, this stylish house has been carefully designed, combining contemporary comfort with tradition.
The interiors are luxurious and the owners have thought to cater for your every need, including a tasty welcome pack with local produce and generous supplies of wood for the woodburning stove.
Please note, this is luxury accommodation designed for grown-ups, so no children under 14 or pets can stay.

The heart of the house is the large open plan kitchen living area. With two large comfy sofas, a cosy wood burning stove, a baby grand piano, and 40 inch HDTV, it’s the perfect place to unwind. The six seater dining table means you could even invite some friends for dinner and show off your holiday house!
There’s a well-equipped kitchen & utility space with dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, large fridge freezer, microwave, toaster, electric oven & induction hob and all the crockery and equipment you need for a stress free self-catering holiday. This room offers sublime views across the glen to the surrounding hills with French Doors giving access to a delightful decking area with seating for four. Just the place to enjoy breakfast on a summer’s morning.
Both double bedrooms boast really comfy super king-size zip-link beds, which can be converted into full size twins as required. One of the bedrooms also has an en-suite toilet, with bath & separate shower. There’s also a central bathroom for the house, equipped with a good electric shower & wc.
The house also offers a small study room, ideal for some quiet time and reading with a well-stocked floor to ceiling book shelf.
Steve, the friendly and helpful owner, has done most of the renovation work himself including making some of the furniture, adding a unique touch of character to the property.
Fantastic walks accessible from the doorstep
There are some fantastic walks accessible from the doorstep onto the hills. The property is well equipped with walking & guide books as well as detailed descriptions and maps of local walks & cycle rides produced by the owners, both keen walkers & cyclists themselves.
Lettoch Beag enjoys the best of the sunshine, with stunning views across the valley. Look out for local wildlife, there are binoculars in the house to borrow. The cottage has its own private access and ample parking for two cars. The charming garden, front and back, offers the perfect outdoor space to relax and take in the hill views.

Perfect Days
Explore nearby Killicrankie, scene of the famous Battle in 1689 between the Jacobites and Redcoats. There are a range of easy walks with views into the dramatic gorge, and an NTS visitor centre.
Head for the hills. There are loads of walking suggestions in the folder in the cottage and maps too. Good walks from the door including some great circular routes. If you prefer the high hills, you are spoilt for choice; Ben y Vrackie (841m), Beinn a’Ghlo (1129m) or Schiehallion (1083m), are all accessible.
Go for lunch in the nearby Blair Atholl Watermill. It’s is a working watermill, serving delicious toasties and freshly baked cakes, all made with flour milled on the spot (open April – Oct).The watermill also offers bread-making courses, for a really enjoyable holiday activity (pre-booking recommended).
Take a drive along Loch Tay to the unusual Crannog Centre, which features a unique reconstruction of an early Iron Age loch-dwelling.
If the weather is fine, buy some local produce and enjoy lunch on the terrace with a glass of something chilled.
Take a drive along to the Queen’s View for the incredible views or visit The Hermitage, with its fine Victoria folly and some of Scotland’s finest and tallest trees. The Riverside walks in the forest are a delight.
Chill out with a good book by the woodburner. The open plan lounge is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the views.
Nearby Blair Castle is well worth a visit, with 700 years of Scottish history to its name, and over 30 rooms on display, plus lovely gardens to enjoy.
Take in a whisky distillery tour at the famous Eradour Distillery, the smallest in Scotland, or enjoy some shopping in Pitlochry or at the House of Bruar, ‘The Harrods of the North’.
