Seafield Holiday Cottages
Seafield Farm Holiday Cottages are two comfy conversions of an old stable and byre located amongst stunning scenery at the head of Loch Sween on the West Coast.
Ideal for couples looking to escape and relax amongst wonderful scenery.
Off The Beaten Track
This place is a bit off-the beaten track but is well worth the effort to get there – wild and remote, set amongst the hills, woodland and lochs of Knapdale, Argyll.
Seafield Farm is located in a picturesque spot on the shore of Loch Sween, just north of the small village of Achnamara.
Delicious Home Baking
You will be welcomed with some delicious home baking and that sets the tone for the rest of your stay. The cottages are incredibly well equipped and far more spacious inside than their modest exterior would lead you to believe.
Despite being remote, both Byre and Stable Cottages have free WiFi if you want to keep in touch with the modern world! Both are tastefully decorated each with two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds.
Tranquil Surroundings
The beds are extremely comfortable and, with the tranquil surroundings, it’s impossible not to have a great night’s sleep!
Each cottage also has a cot, and comes equipped with child gates to keep little ones safe about the stairs. The cottages are full of thoughtful touches, such as a picnic basket and flask.
There are some toys for small children and an eclectic collection of DVDs, books, magazines and games for adults and older children.
Lochgilphead
Byre cottage has a shower room, while Stable cottage has a bathroom (bath with shower above). The kitchen has an excellent selection of cookware to prepare some of the superb local food. There is a fishmongers, butchers and a supermarket in the nearby town of Lochgilphead.
Both cottages are kept warm in winter via radiators heated by a state-of-the-art and environmentally-friendly log-fired boiler. The lounge and dining area is spacious, and fitted out with great sofas, one of which doubles as a sofa bed, expanding the accommodation if required (small extra charge applies).
As you would expect, the cottages have all mod-cons: a large widescreen TV (with DVD player and surround sound), washing machine and dishwasher, ironing board, iron and hairdryer. There is ample parking for two vehicles per cottage.
Why not head for a relaxing holiday base in a beautiful but often overlooked part of Argyll?
