Most routes to the lodge pass through Carrbridge, with its iconic bridge which still stands after 300 years! Continue through Carrbridge for 5 minutes and you’ll reach Duthil, the small Hamlet where Strathspey Lodge is located.
The lodge is a grand, modern affair – entry through the porch brings you into the middle and main floor where you’ll find a huge open plan kitchen and living room and balcony with stunning views across the countryside and towards Cairngorms. Despite the massive scale, the lodge has a really cosy and homely feel – no doubt helped by the wood burner and plush underfloor heating.
The interiors are tastefully done with some local touches, cushions, and some quirky artworks. This is a high-end holiday house and the owners have invested in making Strathspey Lodge a very special place to stay.
